Welcome to the Advanced Light and Electron Microscopy Facility in the Faculty of Science at York University

Capture details that cannot be seen by the unaided eye with the most advanced microscopes on the market. Science and Industry use microscopy to study materials -  attempting to find connections between the structures, properties and behavior.

Reverse engineer material composition or create a phase map with help of energy dispersive spectroscopy and electron backscatter diffraction.

@YorkUMicroscopy is a part of YSciCore - the Core Analytical Facility of the Faculty of Science. Our mission is to support the scientific excellence of research programs. Each project is executed by domain experts, providing critical support from the earliest stages of grant writing and project design, through the experimental platform to data analysis.
