Online booking requires an active QReserve (https://get.qreserve.com ) account. Once you complete your training you will be granted a membership with” Advanced Light and Electron Microscopy @ York University” QReserve site. This will give you an access to the Facility equipment booking calendars. The minimum facility usage is 0.5 hr for FESEM and 1 hr for FIB.

It is highly recommended to discuss expected data scope and specimen preparation with @YorkUMicroscopy

Data is temporarily stored in a local hard drive and deliver to Users employing http://dropbox.yorku.ca/external. It is the User's responsibility to transfer their data in a timely manner.

Users are responsible for gaining access to the Life Sciences Building (LSB) building – both elevators and laboratory floor. Authorization to access LSB is granted by the Principal Investigator or other assigned supervisor. Access privileges include issuing an access card in consultation with the User’s Department Office.
